Sisterly Love: Emma & Lizzie | Jacksonville NC Children’s Photography

I’ve known Jessica since fourth grade when we were both students at the Gordon W. Mitchell Middle School. Over the years, we lost contact until Facebook, the amazing tool it can be, helped us find each other. We’ve chatted here and there since we reconnected, and when I made my trip up to Massachusetts, I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing my childhood friend’s adorable daughters.

Little girls being little girls, we decided to opt for an “adventuring” photo session: we went to three different locations! It definitely kept the girls interested in what was going on and gave us some awesome variety in backgrounds for their images.

We started at the East Bridgewater Common. I grew up on the other side of the cemetery from there so it was a bit on the nostalgic side for me. We let the girls run & play, and I captured them in moments of joy and excitement. Then we headed to the Ironworks Park in Bridgewater. Big shady field with a couple patches of flowers. It was totally empty and the girls again had free reign to run around and play. A few posed shots then we headed to War Memorial Park in West Bridgewater. Yup, we went to all three Bridgewaters for this session! The girls loved the flowers & waterfall, and were easily persuaded to participate in the last leg of their session with promises of pennies to throw in the wishing well.

The girls were a blast to work with and definitely kept both of us on our toes!
