Christa in the Water | Jacksonville NC Boudoir Photography

I’ve been working with Christa for about a year now. You’ll see her face & distinctive ink all over my portfolios. Working with Christa doesn’t feel like work, it feels more like I’m hanging out with a friend & my camera just sort of pops up.

For this session, we wanted to do something a bit different. We wanted to play around with the idea of outside boudoir. We both seem to be on a mission to show that boudoir doesn’t HAVE to be a boudie in lingerie on a bed. It can be in a tank top & ninja turtle socks, it can be outside, it can be anything!

Alum Spring Park is usually pretty busy, we beat the rush by going very, very early in the morning. We both ended up in the water, although I didn’t go quite as deep as she did! Something *may* have nibbled on my leg (fairly certain it was an itty bitty fish) and we both shot out of the water like we saw a copperhead coming for us!

Overall the session was a blast and definitely something I’d love to do again! The water wasn’t cold, it really was refreshing. The little fish were harmless, if startling. The images, those are gorgeous.

That’s a nice location you found in Fredericksburg to shoot this boudoir session. I love how much fun she was having and how comfortable she looked in front of the camera.

I love the idea of a boudoir session in a lake. You booth were so brave though! Haha, there is no way after seeing a copperhead I’d be anywhere near the water, maybe not even the park!

Christa is a natural boudior model! She exudes confidence in these images! I love the water shots. So worth going super early to Alum Springs Park and having a fish nibble your leg!

What a fun and natural boudoir session. I love the black and white photo of her throwing her top off. Something so simple is very beautiful and how you captured it is just great. Beautiful work.

Stunning photos! It really shows in the photos how comfortable you and your client are with each other. That makes for a really amazing session, when it doesn’t feel like work for either of you. I have not seen many boudior shoots outdoors! Very classy! I love it!
