I’m taking a break from Ryan Leigh’s amazing session with us in January to post one from last February! I can not believe I haven’t posted this session before now. Recently you’ve seen her Angel, Pretty, and Neon sessions but this one is a mix of everything! Litalee was on hand to help with lighting for this session and we had SO much fun! Read out Ryan’s Flashback Friday session!
The first set for this session was the bedroom and the sun was shining so light was perfect. Her first two outfits were Calvin Klein sets that she totally rocked! She started by posing on the bed and playing with her hair. The periwinkle set popped perfectly off her skin and the white bedding. Next was a charcoal gray set and over to the wall for some standing poses. We’ve definitely used some of the poses she uses as inspiration for clients. Next was a white baby doll and a flirty smile on the bed again. After that was a light pink bralette and panty set, and we added some of our pink and clear gems around her on the bed to add a pop of color. Finally, a blue bralette and panty set by the window to end our time in the bedroom set.
Ryan Leigh’s first outfit in the sitting room set was a dark red baby doll with matching heels. She very artfully lounged on the couch with this outfit. Next was a black floral robe over a purple bra & panty set. It was a lot of fun to play with, she was able to fluff it out just perfectly. We used natural light to show off her natural beauty. She transitioned into the bra and panty set and we popped some lighting to create a bit of a different mood. While not full on dramatic lighting, it’s definitely a different mood from the natural.
Her next sitting room outfit was a black halter bodysuit from the client closet with some amazing black heels. Add in some back light and we amped up the drama. We really wanted to play up Ryan Leigh’s femininity so her next outfit was a baby pink bralette and panty set paired with a red rose. The rose added just a subtle pop of red, and the white sheepskin underneath her created a beautiful contrast. Back to natural light for these images and up on the stepladder for me! Her final sitting room outfit was black long sleeve body suit and she did some great standing poses again. Seriously, if you’re a photographer looking to work with a model, she’s fantastic!
The next and final set from this session is the red room. Ryan Leigh chose a black strappy piece from the client closet that created amazing contrast on the red wall. We used some harsh light to really add some drama. Next was the black halter bodysuit with the addition of a gold body chain from the client closet. The black popped beautifully off the red wall and the gold added some flair. The red babydoll she wore next was a fun opposite contrast on the black wall from her previous outfits. Finally, we ended the session with the long sleeve black body suit on the floor doing the arch pose with her rose.
You may have noticed that this is a bit out of order, we didn’t have her put the same outfits on multiple times. While they may not have been shot in this order, they definitely flow better this way. This Flashback Friday post is definitely bringing back some fun memories. Interested in booking a session? Reach out to us directly!
