I’ve been working with Christa for about a year now. You’ll see her face & distinctive ink all over my portfolios. Working with Christa doesn’t feel like work, it feels more like I’m hanging out with a friend & my camera just sort of pops up.
For this session, we wanted to do something a bit different. We wanted to play around with the idea of outside boudoir. We both seem to be on a mission to show that boudoir doesn’t HAVE to be a boudie in lingerie on a bed. It can be in a tank top & ninja turtle socks, it can be outside, it can be anything!
Alum Spring Park is usually pretty busy, we beat the rush by going very, very early in the morning. We both ended up in the water, although I didn’t go quite as deep as she did! Something *may* have nibbled on my leg (fairly certain it was an itty bitty fish) and we both shot out of the water like we saw a copperhead coming for us!
Overall the session was a blast and definitely something I’d love to do again! The water wasn’t cold, it really was refreshing. The little fish were harmless, if startling. The images, those are gorgeous.
