Kachiri and I met not long after I first started my business. She was the first person to formally book me for a homecoming. About a week after booking me, she also won a free mini session. Kachiri quickly became a loyal client & a good friend. I would call her just to go location scouting or a trip to Tarheel’s for a night out. I still remember, very vividly, when her homecoming FINALLY arrived, after a month long delay. I spotted her husband, Tucker, who I had yet to meet in person, trying to sneak up on us. Thankfully I recognized him from her photos so I was able to get the camera up & ready!
Since then, I’ve worked with them multiple times, including once after they added to their family! Their puppy, Archer, was very well behaved for his photo shoot!
Going through these photos, you’ll notice a few things; the evolution of my logo is one of them! Another is just how much Kachiri & Tucker adore each other! It’s totally adorable and a bit funny to see them together. Times like these, I really dislike the Marine Corps for the constant moving that means we now live on opposite sides of the country. Here’s hoping we end up on the same coast again some day.
