A few weeks ago, I received a phone call from Lakyn asking to book me for her boyfriend’s homecoming. I was very excited as I’ve missed homecomings since we left Lejeune and this would be my first one since moving back here. It was delayed, as almost every homecoming is. It rained a little, but that didn’t dampen Lakyn’s spirits. As soon as she saw him, she took off like a rocket and I had to run to catch up! Fortunately, I was still able to capture these precious moments for her and Terry. Welcome home, Cpl Coyne, and thank you for your service!
