When one of your muses casually mentions an idea for a session, you jump on it! Ryan Leigh saw my Aerialist session I did at Mandala Yoga Studio and messaged me to let me know she has a travel rig and thought a beach aerial session might be fun.
When we saw the forecast for our original date was a bit cold, but there was warm weather in the forecast soon, we pushed for the warmer weather so Ryan Leigh wasn’t shivering. This also opened us up to have Sarina join us and gave my star gown from Leah Maria time to come in.
We started with the green split silks and a two piece set that allowed Ryan Leigh easy movement. Next, Sarina hopped into the silks in a shiny bodysuit (that she made herself!), and we got some amazing shots.
Next, Ryan Leigh put on the Star Gown from my client closet. We wrapped the silks around the rig and put up the lyra hoop, allowing the gown’s long train to flow to the ground.
Finally, we moved the rig into the water, starting with Ryan Leigh on the lyra and then adding Sarina for some incredible duos aerials! This beach aerial session is definitely one you’ll be seeing everywhere!
